Life lessons from "How I Met Your Mother"

        What's up guys?! So, I was thinking of making a review for TV shows since I've been watching a lot of them these days. Although, here I wanted be more specific looking at the life lessons of the TV shows instead of the basic one.

        On today's post I would like to do the legend... wait for it... dary! Yes! The legendary "How I met Your Mother". Basically, the stories was all about Ted Mosby story-telling his kids about his entire journey finding their mom. The series is narrated through flashbacks from the future. It all starts when Ted's best friend, Marshall, drops the bombshell that he's going to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Lily, a kindergarten teacher. At that moment, Ted realizes that he had better get a move on if he too hopes to find true love. Helping him in his quest is Barney, a friend with endless, sometimes outrageous opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he's sure it's love at first sight, but destiny may have something else in store. The very first TV show that I actually enjoyed and watched the entire episodes of. It's very recommended for those who love to laugh. The show has 9 seasons, be sure to watch all of them!

         Since the shows has 9 seasons, I have 9 lists of the Life lessons from "How I Met Your Mother" for you;
  1. Tough times are temporary and there is always a way we recover from it. Sometimes the worst things or decisions turn out great in the end.
  2. The friends supporting you in bad times are your real friends and those friendships are likely to last.
  3. Your friends can be your family, but it is important to do something about it.
  4. No matter what you are going through, don’t lose hope. There is someone out there with a yellow umbrella, metaphorically speaking. Better times are about to come.
  5. Sometimes you don’t want something until this door is closed forever and it is one thing to not want something and another to be told you can’t have it.
  6. The worst decisions sometimes make the best stories in the end.
  7. It happens when you least expect it. Therefore looking for something won’t make you find it, no matter what you are looking for.
  8. Don’t force things, whatever it is. If it should happen, it will happen. Still it is important to take actions and not to rely on the universe and its signs, because “we only see what we want to see when we are ready to see it”.
  9. If there is such a thing as a soulmate, it doesn’t have to be romantically. Sometimes a soulmate can be a good friend, who gets you in a way nobody else does.

         I know it's probably so random when I suddenly brought up this subject but I hope you enjoy some of my favorites and maybe find something that you can relate to. Like them? More is yet to come. Have a good day! xoxo
